Georg Schäfke

Mag. iur. Georg Schäfke, a German Attorney at Law who founded our law firm in 2011, has vast experience in various legal fields working in Thailand, Germany, and Myanmar. In addition to his legal background, he is publicly sworn interpreter and accredited translator for Thai and German. The combination of legal, linguistic, and intercultural skills enables him to break down cultural barriers and to solve problems easier and faster, thereby achieving effective client support.

He is member of the Cologne Bar Association. His legal work focuses on commercial law with a specialization in corporate law, contract law, and investment law. Furthermore, he is active in the field of (international) inheritance law.

With a perceptive understanding for our clients´ goals and needs Mr. Schäfke coordinates our clients´ matters and develops legal strategies as well as pragmatic solutions together with our Thai lawyers.

He studied Law and East Asian studies at Cologne University and completed his legal clerkship in Cologne, Beijing, and Bangkok.

He taught Thai and Southeast Asian studies at the German Federal Language Department for over 10 years. After his Abitur Mr. Schäfke volunteered in a Burmese refugee camp in Thailand as an English teacher and education coordinator.

Mr. Schäfke is fluent in German, Thai, and English as well as very knowledgeable in Mandarin and Lao.

Sumaree Thongbumrung

Our Senior Associate and Leader of our Thai legal team Mrs. Sumaree Thongbumrung joined us in 2020.  She studied law at Bangkok University. With now over 20 years’ experience working as a Lawyer she has great expertise in corporate law, foreign investment law and BOI as well as litigation, real estate, and contract law. Furthermore, she is specialized in immigration regulations and the Foreign Work Act. She is well practiced in the fields of inheritance law, family law and criminal law.

She oversees the legal practice of our firm, implements strategies and controls details of our clients´ matters with great passion and dedication.

Through her experience working as a lawyer in the Netherlands for over two years she obtained a good understanding of international transactions and intercultural communication.

Mrs. Sumaree is fluent in Thai and English as well as very knowledgeable in Dutch.

Tarawut Romyen

Our Senior Associate and Chief Litigator Mr. Tarawut Romyen studied law at Ramkhhamhaeng University. He has over 20 years’ experience working as a lawyer and is specialized in dispute resolution, litigation, negotiations, and settlements. Furthermore, he has profound knowledge in legal execution, corporate law, labor law, inheritance law, family law and criminal law.

With his enormous longstanding experience conducting litigation throughout all regions of Thailand in all fields of law he navigates our clients through all kind of court proceedings and the involved challenges with great reliability, a steady hand and mindfulness.

Nuchsara Na Rungsee

Our General Manager Ms. Nuchsara Na Rungsee joined us in 2012. She obtained a degree in business administration at Sripatum University in Bangkok.

She has over 11 years of experience working with government agencies and embassies, accounting, and tax matters as well as the organization of various businesses and management issues.

She has excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle and successfully overcome daily business obstacles.

Ms. Nuchsara speaks Thai, English and German.

Naruemon Na Rungsee

Our Accountancy Manager Ms. Naruemon Na Rungsee has a degree in business administration from Southeast Bangkok University with a major in accounting.

She has more than 12 years of experience working in sales coordination with large organizations active both in Thailand and abroad which enabled her to gain extensive knowledge in accounting and tax regulations.

She has an outstanding ability to recognize diverse aspects of a problem and to assess sensible solutions which enables her to solve problems quickly and efficiently even in challenging conditions.

Ms. Naruemon speaks Thai and English.

Sirapatsorn Khotchpoom

Our Junior lawyer Ms. Sirapatsorn Khotchpoom graduated with a law degree from Chulalongkorn University and a degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on British and American Studies from Thammasat University. Hereby she gained a unique blend of legal expertise and cross-cultural insights.

She supports our team with translations, document and contract drafting, as well as legal research.

Fluent in both Thai and English, she seamlessly navigates legal intricacies and effectively communicates with clients from diverse backgrounds and government agencies. Beyond legal practice, Ms. Sirapatsorn also serves as a court interpreter for the English Language, bridging language barriers and ensuring clarity in legal proceedings.

Tattiya Pangaksorn

Our Junior Lawyer Ms. Tattiya Pangaksorn obtained a law degree from Ramkamhaeng University and a bachelor’s degree in Thai Language from Kasetsart University. She supports our team with document and contract drafting, legal research as well as translations.

Before becoming a lawyer, she taught Thai as a foreign language for more than four years. During this time, she gained excellent communication skills, which are particularly valuable when she deals with foreign institutions, government agencies and banks.

Ms. Tattiya is proficient in Thai and English.
